Enrichment and Creative Learning at Banner Lake

Banner Lake Early Learning Center offers a range of enrichment and creative programs for all our students-infants through age 5 to deepen their education. Our programs are offered weekly all-year-round.  

The Banner Lake Early Learning STEAM Lab

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). is a core part of our weekly curriculum with activities provided in house by Miss. Sarissa. Each project integrates multiple aspects of the STEAM subjects and many STEAM activities for students under 5 include sensory based exploration aimed at introducing our young children to learning about the world around them in a fun and engaging way. 

Banner Lake Early Learning Center adapts the i2 Learning STEM curriculum. Over the last 10 years, i2 Learning has partnered with some of the leading STEM organizations in the world to develop a project-based curriculum. i2 Learning has also worked with individual schools, districts, and funders to create custom project-based programs for a range of different educational needs.

Music at Banner Lake Early Learning Center

Music lessons are provided by Miss. Jodie, owner of Music Together of the Treasure Coast. Each class receives 30 minutes of music and movement. The children learn songs and and use instruments as part of the instruction.

Music Together is a pioneer in music education serving children from birth through kindergarten. They have a research based, comprehensive curriculum that includes award winning music and developmentally appropriate activities that can be easily integrated into any early learning setting. The unique Music Together Curriculum raises the overall quality of children's learning in several meaningful ways. It helps children develop music competence, supports development in key early learning domains, gives teachers tools to enhance classroom life, and aligns with many early learning standards, curricula, and philosophies.

Banner Lake Art

Weekly art projects are provided by Miss. Theresa through a partnership with Lighthouse Art. The art projects use a variety of materials and every child is exposed to different art medium and techniques. 

Lighthouse Art Center, Gallery, and School of Art is an impact art center focused on community. Our shared vision is to inspire, engage, and connect all walks of life through the universal language of art. Art classes are offered in media from traditional to niche.
